Rooted in Ethiopian Soil

Bean to Bag is dedicated to delivering high-quality Ethiopian coffee from origin to cup. Our coffee is grown by smallholder farmers in traditional garden farms across Ethiopia's highlands at 1,900–2,200 meters above sea level.

Every step — from sourcing green beans to small-batch roasting and premium packaging — is carefully handled to ensure freshness and quality. We honor the farmers, the land, and the ancient coffee traditions of Ethiopia.

The Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony

In Ethiopia, coffee is a sacred ritual of connection. Women in traditional dress roast green beans over an open flame, grind them with a wooden mortar, and brew three rounds in a clay Jebena — 'Abol', 'Tona', and 'Baraka' (blessing). It's a symbol of respect, friendship, and community.

Every batch is roasted to a precise medium-dark profile, balancing acidity and body while developing rich chocolate and cocoa notes. Our small-batch approach ensures freshness and allows us to highlight each coffee's unique character.

Our stand-up bags feature one-way degassing valves and zip-lock resealable tops to preserve freshness. Each bag includes roast date, batch number, and brewing recommendations.
